Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Staff will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness within the premises. The role involves ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned, sanitized, and well-maintained to provide a safe and pleasant environment for staff, clients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean, sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas (rooms, corridors, offices, washrooms, etc.).
  • Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, ensure regular replenishment of toiletries.
  • Collect and dispose of garbage/waste safely.
  • Ensure proper sanitization of frequently touched surfaces (doors, switches, handles, etc.).
  • Assist in setting up furniture/equipment for meetings or events as required.
  • Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Follow organizational hygiene and safety standards.
  • Support in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification: 10th pass or equivalent (preferred).
  • Prior housekeeping/cleaning experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to handle cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Physically fit and able to perform tasks requiring moderate physical effort.
  • Good time management and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, or holidays if required.
