Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related building field such as Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit with a proven track record of successful project implementations.
  • Familiarity with BIM standards and how they are applied to achieve project deliverables.
  • A strong understanding of the key principles and techniques of reality capture, including laser scanning and photogrammetry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Preferred but not required: Experience with digital twin technology and lifecycle management software.
  • An innovative mindset with a keen interest in staying updated on the latest technology trends in BIM and digital twin solutions.
  • Familiarity with large language models and applied use of GPT tools in a modeling or BIM context. Candidates must demonstrate how they've used AI tools to augment their workflows, reflecting our team's commitment to harnessing cutting-edge technologies for enhanced operational efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Model Development
  • Develop and author models from 3D scans and 2D drawings using advanced Owners' BIM methods
  • Review and validate models.
  • Perform minor updates to existing BIM models without requiring a re-scan.
  • Define groups (e.g., zones, suites, etc.).
  • Assign rooms to groups (e.g., into zones, suites, etc.).
  • Validate that BIM models conform to standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members and stakeholders to integrate BIM with lifecycle management processes, enhancing the operational efficiency of large organizations.
  • Innovation: Continuously explore and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve BIM practices and outcomes.
  • Active Participation: Actively participate in team meetings, offering insights and solutions that drive project success and innovation.
  • Industry Awareness: Maintain a keen awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends, ensuring that the team remains at the forefront of the building profession.
