Key Job Responsibilities of a Housekeeping Desk Attendant
Coordination and Communication
Act as the main point of contact between the housekeeping department and other hotel departments (front office, maintenance, etc.).
- Receive and relay guest requests (e.g., extra towels, room cleaning).
 Coordinate room cleaning schedules with housekeeping supervisors and room attendants.
Administrative Duties
Maintain daily records of room status (cleaned, vacant, occupied, out-of-order).
- Update housekeeping management software or manual logs.
 Track and assign tasks to room attendants and supervisors.
Guest Service Support
Handle calls from guests regarding housekeeping needs.
- Ensure all guest complaints or requests are addressed promptly.
 Follow up with staff to confirm task completion and guest satisfaction.
Inventory & Supplies Monitoring
Monitor and report the status of housekeeping supplies and linen.
Assist in ordering and issuing housekeeping stock items.
Shift Handover and Reporting
Prepare end-of-shift reports for incoming shifts.
Communicate any unresolved issues or special instructions.
Compliance and Standards
Ensure housekeeping procedures align with hotel policies.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across the property.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
