Overview of Position:

We are seeking an experienced Manager Procurement to lead procurement activities for renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and supply chain coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

Job Description

• Responsible for floating RFP, coordinating pre-bid technical discussions, commercial negotiation, Contract drafting/negotiation/finalization.
• Identifying new vendors as per business requirement, running vendor empanelment process, vendor relationship management.
• Running the entire procure to pay process and coordination with Internal departments.
• Providing regular inputs for project cost estimation/Budgeting and tracking market for various price and supply chain related dynamics.
• Participating in project review meetings and providing regular updates related to packages handled.
• Implementation of procurement plans/ systems as per requirements.
• Collecting material /equipment requirements including procurement schedule.
• Interfacing and coordination through discussions & clarifications between suitable vendors (domestic/ International), client and consultants.
• Obtaining approval for out of registered vendors & other specialized agencies for construction materials, supply items, equipment etc.
• Negotiation of prices & terms with suppliers.
• Coordinating with supplier / engineering team for approval of tech data / Drawings /equipment and then finalize the purchase orders for plant/ materials.
• Arrangement of logistics and other formalities.
• Expediting for delivery of materials / plant / equipment as per schedule along with Project Controls Manager.
• Knowledge of SAP/ARIBA & Other ERP Software.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 7–12 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the renewable energy, EPC, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge of vendor management, contract negotiation, and supply chain processes.
• Experience in using SAP/ARIBA or other ERP tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple project demands.
