Key Responsibilities
1. Government Liaison & Relationship Management
Establish and nurture effective working relationships with key government departments such as:
Department of Mines & Geology, Forest Department (State & MOEF), Energy Department (KPCL, KPTCL), Revenue, Ground Water Department, Urban Development, Pollution Control Boards (KSPCB & CPCB), Fire Department, C&I (Industries), RDPR, Panchayat Raj Institutions, and other relevant bodies.
Represent the organization in official meetings and discussions, ensuring seamless communication between government bodies and internal stakeholders.
2. Approvals & Statutory Clearances
Manage the end-to-end process of obtaining and renewing all statutory approvals and clearances including:
PWD Category Certificates, Consent for Operation (CFO) extensions, mining lease modifications, water permission renewals, NOC/NIPL clearances, Compliance Certificates (CCR), etc.
Ensure proactive follow-up and documentation to avoid delays or compliance issues.
3. Project Support & Documentation
- Collaborate with plant and mine teams to prepare, submit, and track various proposals and applications required for regulatory approvals.
- Maintain up-to-date records, department-wise documentation, and ensure completeness of all procedural and compliance-related files.
4. Special Permissions & Regulatory Affairs
Facilitate key project-specific permissions such as:
Corrigendum to mining lease deeds, composite licenses, SHLCC extension approvals, PCCF approvals for wildlife conservation plans, energy import approvals, etc.
Monitor and ensure compliance with guidelines issued by MOEF, CPCB, IBM, and other regulatory agencies.
5. Stakeholder & Customer Coordination
- Act as the liaison between senior management and government officials, arranging and coordinating high-level meetings and visits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal departments (legal, plant, corporate) on matters related to external government approvals and communications.
