Platform Manager

The Platform Manager leads the squad and is responsible for the squad vision, backlog management, and day-to-day priorities. This role is accountable for achieving a key business outcome with a solution that integrates perspectives from relevant stakeholders to realize the Tribe's goals. The Platform Manager defines and prioritizes requirements in the squad's backlog and approves items as completed.
What you'll be doingDrive and manage vendor performance.
Ensure the Oracle tickets meet the SLAs.
Ensure the use of tools for effective vulnerability management through Qualys/SecOps .
Drive best practices and automation.
Ensure right standards are met for handling tickets.
Build tools and utilities to facilitate ease of Oracle support.
Co-ordinate and collaborate with cross functional teams to manage effective Oracle support.
Drive vendor cost optimization initiatives with emphasis on modernization.
Drive governance of key Oracle ticket metrics.
Effectively manage weekly, monthly and quarterly service reviews with the vendor.
Ensure major incidents resolution with no service disruption.
Ensure 100% availability of the systems and tools for utilities for smooth Oracle ticket management.
Strong delivery management experience managing vendors and stakeholders.
Good exposure and knowledge of managing risk with vulnerability remediation and mitigation.
Minimum 2 years sound skills in working on Service Now.
Minimum 4 years of experience in managing application support group.
ITIL certified.
Sound knowledge of Oracle products.
Sound knowledge of Unix and databases will be preferred.
Sound skills in managing SLA s ,compliance and metrics.
