Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Chief of Staff to lead Procurement, Administration, and Human Resource functions for our growing network of childcare centres. This senior managerial role requires strong operational leadership, vendor and people management skills, and the ability to streamline multi-functional backend operations.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for cost efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage vendors for supplies, food services, maintenance, and educational tools.
  • Negotiate contracts, track vendor performance, and oversee inventory management.
  • Standardize procurement processes across all centres.

Administration & Facility Oversight

  • Supervise maintenance, licenses, utilities, security, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure statutory and safety compliance (fire safety, health certificates, FSSAI, etc.).
  • Coordinate inspections, audits, and government filings.

Human Resources Management

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, retention, and employee engagement.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and maintain HR documentation.
  • Handle payroll inputs, attendance, and compliance via HRMS.
  • Support training, performance management, and grievance handling.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, HR, or related field.
  • 15–20 years of experience in operations, HR, and procurement.
  • Background in education, healthcare, hospitality, or service sectors preferred.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRMS, and inventory tools.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi; Marathi preferred.
  • Age: 35–45 years.
  • Willingness to travel within Pune and across India.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80, ₹180,000.00 per month
