Job Purpose
The Shop Salesman will be responsible for attending to customers, understanding their requirements, showcasing products, assisting in sales, and maintaining a pleasant shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Maintain proper display, cleanliness, and arrangement of items in the shop.
- Handle billing, cash/UPI transactions, and basic computer entries.
- Achieve daily/weekly sales targets.
- Maintain customer relationships for repeat business.
- Keep track of stock levels and inform management of shortages.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
- Presentable and well-mannered personality
- Basic computer literacy (billing, MS Office, email)
- Sales-oriented and proactive attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum: SSLC / Plus Two
- Experience in retail/shop sales preferred (freshers may also apply)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
