Job Purpose

The Shop Salesman will be responsible for attending to customers, understanding their requirements, showcasing products, assisting in sales, and maintaining a pleasant shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Maintain proper display, cleanliness, and arrangement of items in the shop.
  • Handle billing, cash/UPI transactions, and basic computer entries.
  • Achieve daily/weekly sales targets.
  • Maintain customer relationships for repeat business.
  • Keep track of stock levels and inform management of shortages.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Good communication and customer-handling skills
  • Presentable and well-mannered personality
  • Basic computer literacy (billing, MS Office, email)
  • Sales-oriented and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum: SSLC / Plus Two
  • Experience in retail/shop sales preferred (freshers may also apply)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
