Accounting Associate Advisor

Position overview

Accounting Associate Advisor is responsible to oversee end-to-end Accounts payable operation, ensure all invoices are processed on time and vendor queries are resolved on time. Responsible for all tax, regulatory compliances which includes Direct and indirect tax compliance, MCA and all applicable compliances for India entities.

Required Skills:

  • Post Graduate qualification/CA or equivalent qualification with years of experience.

  • Good accounting background.

  • Must have hands on experience in oracle

  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of MS excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Review of Accounts payable invoices, ensure all vendor invoices are accounted on time and vendor payments made on time

  • Experience in Indian taxation and compliance

  • Experience of TDS, GST returns, GST refund, advance tax and other monthly compliances

  • Working experience in statutory audit, tax audit and transfer pricing audit and GST audits

  • Knowledge in RBI and FEMA regulation.

  • Working knowledge Balance Sheet reconciliations

  • Manage revenue and expense booking and monitoring in the accounting ERP.

  • Support in monthly/quarterly financial closing activity in close co-ordination with business and accounting teams.

  • Ensure appropriate financial documents and procedures are in place.

  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, MIS and   ad-hoc reports as and when required.

  • Preparation of Expenses reports at cost center level

  • Any other accounting related work for the Company and timely escalation of critical issues.

  • Actively participating in the automation initiatives

  • Resolving escalations from various shareholders

  • Experience in preparation of Budgets

  • Experience is Indian Compliance is added advantage

Location & Hours of Work

  • Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate

  • Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WFH)
