Patent Analyst - Food Technology

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled
Patent Analyst ? Food Technology
to support our intellectual property research and analysis functions. The role involves conducting comprehensive patent searches, evaluating patent landscapes, and delivering actionable insights on innovations in food technology. The ideal candidate should bring a strong foundation in food technology, combined with proven expertise in patent analysis and competitive intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

Patent Search & Analysis

� Conduct comprehensive patent searches using global patent databases and analytical tools.

� Review and analyze patent documents to assess relevance, scope, and potential impact.

� Prepare clear, well-structured reports summarizing findings and providing strategic recommendations.

Patent Landscape & Competitive Intelligence

� Develop and maintain patent landscapes to identify industry trends, white spaces, and opportunities.

� Track competitors? patenting activity to deliver timely competitive intelligence.

� Support the drafting and technical review of patent applications to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications:

� Bachelor?s degree in
Food Technology
(Master?s degree preferred).

�
1 to 3 years of experience
in patent analysis, preferably within food technology, life sciences, or chemical engineering domains.

� Solid understanding of
patent laws, procedures, and international patent databases
(e.g., USPTO, EPO, WIPO).

� Proficiency in patent search tools and databases.

� Excellent analytical and research skills with strong attention to detail.

� Strong written and verbal communication skills.

� Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
