Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Magento Developer with 5–7 years of experience who's passionate about building scalable, high-performing, and visually stunning eCommerce platforms. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Magento-based web applications, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class online experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2-based eCommerce websites and modules.
  • Implement new features, functionalities, and integrations with third-party systems (payment gateways, CRMs, ERPs, etc.).
  • Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across environments.
  • Manage version control, deployment, and code documentation processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest Magento trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Magento (preferably Magento 2).
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, GraphQL, and Magento custom module development.
  • Good understanding of caching mechanisms, indexing, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with headless Magento or PWA Studio.
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, or similar).
  • Exposure to the jewellery or luxury retail eCommerce domain.
