Role Overview:

As a Team Leader within the Audit and Risk Management function, you will oversee and guide the execution of multiple assignments across domains such as internal audit, enterprise risk management, compliance reviews, and standard operating procedures. This role requires a strategic and hands-on approach to managing client engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables in areas like internal financial control, process risk assessments, and compliance frameworks. You will also lead a team of professionals, contribute to audit planning, and collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive impactful change across client organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership in Audit and Risk Management:

* Lead the execution of global internal audit engagements with a focus on internal financial controls, operational risks, and regulatory compliance.

* Supervise risk control self-assessments and ensure adherence to industry-specific compliance requirements.

* Analyze audit findings, identify gaps, and provide strategic recommendations for process improvements.

Reporting and Documentation Oversight:

* Review and finalize comprehensive audit reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with industry standards.

* Present findings and strategic insights to Audit Directors and client management.

* Monitor compliance with reporting standards, regulatory frameworks, and internal controls.

Policy & Framework Development:

* Drive the development and continuous improvement of internal audit policies, SOPs, and risk management frameworks.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to align operational procedures with organizational objectives and risk mitigation strategies.

Client Engagement and Specialized Reviews:

* Oversee client engagements including internal financial control evaluations and compliance reviews.

* Lead interviews and information-gathering sessions with client stakeholders to support investigations and operational audits.

Audit Planning and Risk Strategy:

* Lead audit planning activities including risk assessments and audit scoping.

* Provide strategic input to ensure audit plans are aligned with organizational risks and business priorities.

Mentorship and Career Growth:

* Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

* Engage in leadership development forums and contribute to internal talent development initiatives.

Team Leadership and Performance Management:

* Manage team performance through regular coaching, feedback, and evaluations.

* Support hiring, training, and capability building initiatives to strengthen the audit team.

Implementation and Continuous Improvement:

* Monitor and ensure implementation of audit recommendations across client engagements.

* Track the effectiveness of implemented changes and drive continuous improvement efforts.
