Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, assist with reconciliations, and help ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Record and maintain daily financial transactions (e.g., sales, purchases, payments, receipts)
  • Process invoices, expense forms, and other financial documents
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate accounting records in compliance with company policies
  • Help monitor accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist in payroll processing if required
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of accounting or finance-related experience (internships count)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Ongoing or completed CA Inter / CMA Inter (optional)
