About Us

At A La Mode, we are a fast-growing fashion brand specializing in contemporary women's wear, catering to customers across India. We're seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Merchandiser to join our team and oversee end-to-end merchandising operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all production-related documentation, including job orders, issue challans, and receipt challans.
  • Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for each product accurately.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth production planning and execution.
  • Monitor and track production timelines, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently.
  • Follow up with vendors, suppliers, and in-house teams regarding material availability, dispatch, and delivery status.
  • Maintain organized records of production activities and update reports regularly.
  • Review and verify all production-related data before submission to senior management.
  • Identify and report any delays, issues, or discrepancies in the production process and assist in resolving them.
  • Coordinate with the merchandising and quality control teams to ensure product specifications are followed accurately.
  • Prepare and share weekly production status reports with senior management.
  • Assist in process improvement by analyzing production efficiency and suggesting optimizations.
  • Maintain close communication with all departments to ensure smooth workflow from order initiation to final production.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2–4 years of proven experience in merchandising, preferably within the women's wear segment.
  • Solid understanding of the Indian retail fashion market and consumer trends.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in maintaining accurate reports.
  • Skilled in handling both in-store and digital merchandising operations.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and familiar with ERP systems.
