Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented AutoCAD / 2D Drafting Engineer who has basic knowledge of coordinates and spatial layouts. The ideal candidate will support our engineering and project teams by creating precise technical drawings and layouts based on field inputs, technical specifications, and coordinate data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings for infrastructure and power projects.
  • Work with coordinate data to accurately place structures, routes, and components on drawings.
  • Read and interpret site survey data, drawings, and design instructions.
  • Coordinate with engineering and site teams for inputs, clarifications, and updates.
  • Maintain drawing documentation and ensure version control.
  • Assist in preparing as-built drawings post site execution, incorporating real-time coordinate changes.
  • Must be able to understand government drawings of land parcels, do the conversion of chain and/or meters etc., specific to the state and then make AutoCAD drawings of the same.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) drafting.
  • Basic understanding of coordinate systems Lat-Long, UTM etc (X, Y, Z) and how they are used in drawings and layouts.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with survey drawings, Google Earth layouts, or GIS concepts.

Note:

Only male candidates preferred.

Travel to project sites (approx. 20% as and when required) for data collection, verification, and coordination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
