Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Bengaluru. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Duties include monitoring and analyzing accounting data, producing financial reports or statements, and establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. The role also involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations, handling audits, and providing financial advice and direction to the management team.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
  • Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Competency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
