Junior Accountant

Position Overview: The Junior Accountant will assist the finance team in managing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance — with a strong focus on Zoho Books. Candidates from hospitality, restaurant, café, or patisserie backgrounds will be preferred, given the need to manage outlet-level accounting, vendor coordination, and food industry-specific transactions.

  • Key Responsibilities: Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting entries in Zoho Books.
  • Record and reconcile sales, purchases, expenses, and payments from multiple outlets.
  • Handle vendor invoices, purchase orders, GRNs, and payment scheduling.
  • Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations and maintain petty cash records.
  • Generate and maintain GST invoices, debit/credit notes, and statutory documentation.
  • Assist with inventory accounting and coordinate with operations for material consumption and wastage reports.
  • Prepare MIS reports, expense summaries, and management dashboards as required.
  • Support internal and external audits with accurate and timely documentation.
  • Ensure all accounting data is recorded correctly and maintained with confidentiality.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in hospitality / restaurant / café / patisserie / F&B industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books – mandatory.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and understanding of accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
  • Good communication and coordination skills across teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability.
  • Preferred: Experience managing multi-outlet accounting within Zoho Books.
  • Understanding of costing, inventory control, and consumption tracking in F&B.
