Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cashier located in Chennai. The Cashier will handle daily transaction processing, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. Responsibilities also include managing cash transactions, balancing cash registers, and adhering to company policies. The Cashier will maintain a clean and organized workspace and provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and courteously.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in handling cash, card payments, and point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy in recording transactions, and organization skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving abilities and basic math skills
  • Previous experience in retail or cashier duties is an advantage
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
