Key Responsibilities:

1. Estimation & Costing

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and rate analysis for civil works.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure complete cost coverage.
  • Collect and analyze data on materials, labor, and equipment rates from vendors/subcontractors.

2. Tendering & Bidding

  • Prepare and submit competitive bids/tenders within stipulated timelines.
  • Coordinate with procurement, design, and project teams for technical and commercial inputs.
  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative statements.

3. Cost Control & Budgeting

  • Support in preparing project budgets and cost monitoring throughout execution.
  • Track project expenditures and highlight cost variances to management.
  • Assist in value engineering studies to optimize project costs.

4. Contracts & Documentation

  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals as per client requirements.
  • Maintain updated rate databases, cost libraries, and historical project records.
  • Coordinate with QS team for verification of contractor bills and variations.

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and clients for cost-related clarifications.
  • Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and MIS reports for management.
