Telesales Team Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of telesales/tele-calling agents to meet / exceed monthly & quarterly sales targets.
- Assign sales quotas, set daily / weekly / monthly goals.
- Monitor team performance via KPIs (call volume, conversion rate, average deal size, etc.).
- Coach agents on sales techniques, objection handling, product knowledge (solar products — on-grid/off-grid systems, inverters, batteries, etc.).
- Develop & implement telesales strategies: script development, call campaigns, follow-ups.
- Work with Marketing / Lead Generation team to ensure steady flow of leads, and optimize lead quality.
- Prepare reports on telesales outcomes; analyze metrics; propose improvements.
- Ensure customer relationship management (CRM) tool is used effectively by team (logging calls, updates etc.).
- Maintain compliance, quality of calls, ensuring customer satisfaction and follow ups.
- Coordinate with field sales / project teams for site visits & conversions from telesales leads.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 2+years of experience in telesales or inside sales, at least 1-2 years in a leadership / supervisory role.
- Experience in solar / renewable energy sector is a big plus but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills in English and Malayalam.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation, and coaching skills.
- Analytical mindset: ability to interpret data, metrics, and use them to improve outcomes.
- Comfortable using CRM software, telephony tools.
- High drive for targets, result focused.
