We're Hiring: Java Spring Boot Developer

Experience: 4–5 Years

Location: Gurgaon | Mode: Work from Office | Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Build and scale backend services and APIs using Spring Boot. You'll ship containerized services, collaborate with product/DevOps, and ensure performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities


• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs/microservices with Spring Boot 3.x.


• Containerize services with Docker and own image build/run workflows.


• Integrate relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and external services.


• Implement security (Spring Security, JWT) and follow secure coding practices.


• Write unit/integration tests (JUnit/Mockito/Testcontainers) and conduct code reviews.


• Collaborate on CI/CD (Bitbucket/Jenkins/GitHub Actions) pipelines.


• Monitor and troubleshoot performance and production issues.

Must-Have Skills (Mandatory)


• Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x (Web, Data JPA, Security).


• Docker: authoring Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, optimizing image size, running containers locally and in lower envs.


• SQL & ORM: MySQL/PostgreSQL, Hibernate/JPA, query tuning basics.


• Git and collaborative development (PRs, branching).


• Testing: JUnit/Mockito; familiarity with Testcontainers preferred.

Important (Strongly Preferred)


• Cloud exposure (Azure/AWS/GCP) in any of:


• App Services/ECS/Cloud Run, container registries (Azure ACR, ECR, GCR).


• Secrets & config (Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).


• Managed DBs (Azure MySQL, RDS, Cloud SQL).


• Logging/monitoring (App Insights/CloudWatch/Stackdriver).


• CI/CD: building and deploying containerized apps to cloud targets.


• Messaging: Kafka/RabbitMQ fundamentals.


• Observability: OpenAPI/Swagger, health checks, metrics.

Nice to Have


• Kubernetes basics (pods, deployments, services) for future readiness.


• Caching (Redis), async patterns, and pagination/batch design.


• Familiarity with frontend integration ) for API contracts.


• GraphQL or gRPC exposure.

Soft Skills


• Ownership mindset, clear communication, and pragmatic problem-solving.


• Ability to work in agile teams and deliver iteratively.
