IDM/IAM Developer

Aufgaben

• Specify technical requirements in collaboration with other team members
• Writing code to modify and customize the IDM system via configuration as code to align with the unique business requirements of the organization.
• Integrating the IDM system with existing enterprise systems, such as directories (e.g., Active Directory), HR systems, and application servers, to ensure seamless user provisioning and access management.
• Conducting thorough testing of the IDM system to identify and resolve any functional or security issues before deployment.
• Creating and managing the database schema required to store user information, access policies, and other relevant data.
• Documenting the system design, development process, and operational procedures to facilitate future maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ensure that all software meets security and privacy requirements and is compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar experience
• Proficiency in at least one programming languages such as Java
• Awareness and adherence to security best practices, such as secure coding principles, encryption algorithms and secure transmission protocols.
• Proficiency in consuming APIs, including RESTful APIs. Knowledge of popular API design patterns, versioning, documentation, and authentication/authorization for APIs is essential.
• Competence in working with databases and query languages, particularly in designing efficient database schemas and writing optimized SQL queries
• Knowledge of systems commonly integrated with IAM systems, such as Active Directory and HR Systems (SAP)
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including other developers, architects, security specialists, and stakeholders. Clear communication of technical concepts and requirements to non-technical team members is important.
• Experience with identity management applications such as midPoint or similar
• Experience with agile development processes and tools such as JIRA, Git, and GitLab CI
• Expertise in identity and access management concepts, technologies, and best practices
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure, i.e. Kubernetes and container technologies
• Fluent English
