JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Media Relations & PR Strategy:
  • Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance brand reputation and thought leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare, business, and mainstream media (print, digital, and broadcast).
  • Proactively pitch stories, handle media queries, and ensure regular and positive media visibility.
  • Content Development:
  • Draft compelling press releases, media notes, articles, bylines, speeches, Q&A documents, and media kits.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (doctors, leadership, marketing) to craft accurate and impactful narratives.
  • Campaign & Event Support:
  • Support PR and communication efforts around new launches, medical milestones, health awareness campaigns, and other initiatives.
  • Manage media outreach during hospital events, health camps, CMEs, conferences, etc.
  • Crisis & Reputation Management:
  • Support the development of crisis communication plans and act swiftly to mitigate reputational risks.
  • Liaise with legal and senior management for sensitive issues.
  • Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Track and analyze media coverage and share regular PR reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor healthcare industry trends and media sentiment.
  • Internal & Stakeholder Communication:
  • Collaborate with marketing, digital, and social media teams to align messaging across channels.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in PR, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences sector (agency exp. mandatory).
  • Proven experience in media relations, crisis communication, and healthcare content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
