Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Company Secretary or Chartered Accountant with a strong background in law and finance to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will oversee the company's accounts, manage statutory compliance, coordinate with legal counsel, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting. This role demands a proactive professional with excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills who can serve as a trusted advisor to management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management & Compliance
  • Manage and oversee accounts, profit & loss statements, and financial records.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial statements and compliance reports.
  • Handle statutory filings, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Corporate Governance & Legal Affairs
  • Act as a liaison with company lawyers and legal advisors.
  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents, procurement agreements, and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate laws, company policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Advise management on legal implications of business decisions.
  • Secretarial & Administrative Functions
  • Manage board meetings, shareholder communication, and statutory registers.
  • Ensure adherence to company secretarial practices and applicable laws.
  • Oversee company shareholding structure, dividend distribution, and capital-related matters.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with management, finance, legal, and procurement teams.
  • Provide inputs on risk management, financial planning, and regulatory matters.
  • Coordinate between internal stakeholders and external consultants/lawyers.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualifications: CA/CS is mandatory. LLB is highly preferred.
  • Experience: 7–8 years in corporate law, finance, and accounts management.
  • Strong expertise in corporate governance, financial compliance, and contract management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently.
  • Proven experience in handling legal and financial documentation.
