About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic
Manager – Volunteering & Community
to lead our corporate and community engagement initiatives. The primary responsibility will be to engage
corporate volunteers from our partner organizations
in meaningful projects focused on
climate action and sustainability
, while also managing our
alumni network of past changemakers
.

Manager – Volunteering & Community

Location:
1M1B office, Bangalore

Reports to:
Programs Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement impactful
    corporate volunteering programs
    aligned with climate and sustainability.
  • Work closely with
    Corporate Volunteering Managers
    at partner organizations to inspire, recruit, and engage employees.
  • Plan and execute events, campaigns, and community-building activities.
  • Manage and engage the alumni network of past 1M1B changemakers to keep them connected to our mission.
  • Document activities, create reports, and track volunteer and alumni impact.
  • Use storytelling, case studies, and data to highlight outcomes.
  • Support visibility of volunteering initiatives through
    social media and digital marketing
    (a strong plus).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Social Work, Development, Management, Sustainability, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in volunteer management, corporate CSR, alumni/community engagement, or related areas.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver scalable
    corporate volunteering programs
    .
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in social media, digital marketing, or community platforms is a strong advantage.
