Job Title: Python Developer Lead

Experience: 815 Years

Location: Chennai

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer Lead to design, develop, and lead high-performance backend applications. The candidate should have strong expertise in Python frameworks, API development, and cloud-based microservices architecture, along with proven leadership and mentoring skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using Python (Django / Flask / FastAPI).
• Work closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements.
• Drive end-to-end project delivery, from requirement analysis to deployment.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end and third-party services.
• Guide and mentor junior developers through code reviews and best practices.
• Ensure code quality, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Cloud teams for seamless delivery.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python, Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Experience in microservices, REST API design, and asynchronous programming
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and system architecture
• Proficiency with Databases PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
• Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Terraform
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills

Good to Have

• Experience in event-driven systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ)
• Exposure to frontend technologies (React / Angular)
• Familiarity with security and authentication standards (OAuth2, JWT)

Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Very good communication skills (written and oral) is must.
