Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation scripts using Python.
  • Perform RESTful API testing using tools like Postman, Pytest, requests, etc.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI or similar).
  • Identify, log, and track defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Maintain test environments and test data.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to testing and QA processes.
  • Ensure test coverage, traceability, and continuous improvement in QA practices.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in Python for test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (manual and automated).
  • Good understanding of RESTful web services and HTTP protocols.
  • Experience with Pytest, unittest, or other Python testing frameworks.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium.
  • Proficient in working with Postman, Swagger, or similar tools(optional).

  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
