Hiring: Manager Captive Insurance Accounting (Leading Global Insurance Brokerage)

Location: Mumbai / Pune / Bangalore

Work Model: Onsite preferred (Hybrid possible 1 week from office; travel at own expense if not relocating)

About the Role:

We are looking for seasoned finance professionals with strong expertise in Captive Insurance Accounting to join a leading global insurance and risk management firm. This is a client-facing leadership role, responsible for managing captive clients and leading large teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end Captive Insurance Accounting and reporting.
  • Handle client interactions for captive entities (insurance & reinsurance).
  • Lead, mentor, and scale large accounting teams members).
  • Drive process transition, migration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with international insurance / reinsurance market regulations.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Qualification:

  • CA with 12+ years of experience OR

  • Non-CA with 14+ years of experience in accounting/insurance domain.

  • Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in insurance / reinsurance accounting.

  • Strong exposure to Captive Client Accounting.
  • Team management experience is mandatory handling 50–100 FTEs.
  • Experience in team scaling, migration, and process transition.
  • Exposure to the BPM / Shared Services environment will be an added advantage.
