₹6,60,000 - ₹8,40,000 a year We are looking for a highly driven tax professional to take ownership of GST regulatory operations, strategic compliance management, and support ongoing dispute resolution and advisory initiatives. In this role, you will manage comprehensive GST workflows, strengthen compliance governance, and support case management and policy interpretation across diverse client engagements. You will collaborate closely with internal tax experts, finance teams, and regulatory stakeholders while leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve data reliability. This position provides a strong platform for career growth in GST regulatory strategy, litigation exposure, and technology-led transformation within the indirect taxation ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end GST compliance processes including return preparation, review, and timely submission of periodic returns (monthly, quarterly, and annual). Perform GST-related reconciliations including 2B vs books, GSTR-1 vs 3B, and vendor-led input credit validation. Support GST audit cycles, departmental assessments, and regulatory inquiries by preparing structured documentation and evidence. Assist in managing dispute workflows such as representation drafting, collating case facts, preparing briefing notes, and coordinating with legal counsel. Handle GST refund claims, documentation, follow-up, and closure tracking. Prepare issue summaries and knowledge notes on recent changes in GST law, notifications, and judicial rulings. Work with internal technology teams to build automated solutions that optimize compliance accuracy and reduce manual dependencies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to extract data, resolve queries, and drive transparency on delivery progress. Maintain high standards of compliance documentation, audit trails, and policy governance.
What Makes You Successful in This Role Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong interest in indirect taxes and regulatory frameworks. Solid understanding of GST rules, return filing mechanisms, and compliance requirements. Exposure to reconciliations, audits, refund processing, or litigation support. Ability to interpret statutory requirements and apply them to real business situations. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a detail-oriented work style. Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for client and departmental interactions. Self-motivated professional with the ability to manage high-volume deadlines independently.
Preferred Experience Familiarity with compliance platforms, ERP tools, and tax automation technologies. Experience or exposure in handling GST assessments, appeals, or case research.
