Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented 
Senior Accountant
 with a strong background in the 
e-commerce industry
. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in 
Zoho Books
 and 
Tally ERP
, and possess in-depth knowledge of 
GST, TDS, income tax
, and other regulatory 
compliances
. This role requires end-to-end accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and close coordination with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts using 
    Zoho Books
     and 
    Tally ERP
    .
  • Manage 
    daily accounting operations
    , including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, payment processing, invoicing, and general ledger.
  • Ensure timely and accurate 
    GST filings, TDS returns
    , and compliance with all statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and review 
    monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
    .
  • Coordinate with auditors for 
    internal and statutory audits
    .
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and working capital requirements.
  • Reconcile payment gateway accounts (e.g., Razorpay, Paytm, Cashfree, etc.) and marketplace settlements (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).
  • Maintain inventory and cost accounting in coordination with operations.
  • Liaise with external consultants, CA, and legal advisors for compliance and taxation matters.
  • Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Implement and optimize accounting processes and controls specific to the e-commerce industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter preferred but not mandatory).
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the 
    e-commerce domain
    .
  • Proficiency in 
    Zoho Books and Tally ERP
     is a must.
  • In-depth knowledge of 
    Indian taxation
    : GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC compliance, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with 
    marketplace reconciliation tools
     or modules.
  • Familiarity with 
    MIS reporting
     and 
    financial forecasting
    .
  • Prior experience coordinating with 
    external auditors and tax consultants
    .
