Description :

We are looking for a detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with a strong foundation in both functional and performance testing.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring software quality through automation frameworks, continuous testing, and Agile delivery.

You will work closely with developers, QA analysts, and product owners to design and execute comprehensive test strategies that improve the reliability and performance of applications across environments.

This role offers the opportunity to work with modern testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG, while also contributing to test automation strategy and CI/CD integration within a high-performing engineering team.

What Youll Do :



- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing using Playwright and Selenium.

- Define and implement effective test automation frameworks aligned with project and product requirements.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, story refinement, and test estimation.

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across multiple environments.

- Collaborate closely with developers to identify defects early and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles.

- Contribute to the maintenance and execution of test suites integrated with tools like Git and Jenkins.

- Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in test automation and performance validation.

- Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate system behavior under stress conditions (where applicable).

- Maintain clear documentation of test strategies, automation scripts, and test execution results.

What You Bring :


- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Automation or Performance Testing.

- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

- Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working within cross-functional Agile teams.

- Experience with version control tools such as Git for collaborative development and test management.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with automated testing tools.

- Ability to design effective test scenarios, write reusable scripts, and ensure comprehensive coverage.

- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to testing and debugging.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in stakeholder interaction and status reporting.

Preferred Skills :


- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Experience in security testing or familiarity with OWASP standards.

- Knowledge of API testing frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).

- Experience integrating test results into reporting dashboards
