Position: Marketing Specialist

Department: Umeed

Reporting To: Field Director

Role Overview:

The Marketing Specialist will promote the NGO's vocational training programs, build employer partnerships, support placement coordination, and manage overall outreach and communication efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Outreach

  • Promote vocational training programs through community outreach and digital marketing.
  • Create and manage promotional content (social media, brochures, posters).
  • Organize mobilization drives, events, and awareness activities.

Placement Coordination

  • Build relationships with employers and identify job opportunities.
  • Coordinate interviews, placement drives, and follow-ups.
  • Support trainees with resumes and interview preparation.

Partnership & Communication

  • Engage with partners, community leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Document success stories and maintain program visibility.
  • Assist with reports, presentations, and branding materials.

Program Support

  • Maintain trainee and placement records.
  • Assist the team with day-to-day vocational training coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience (NGO/training sector preferred).
  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Basic design and social media management knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
