Qualification - B. Tech (Electronics).

Requirements and Skills :

1.Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager in electronics field. Should have pursued B-tech in Electronics.

  1. Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.

  2. Interest in Market dynamics along with business sense and critical thinking

  3. Solid judgement along with decision making skills.

  4. Ability to procure goods from international markets with good communication skills.

  5. Should have good knowledge for electronic components and ability to identify good quality material.

Responsibilities :

  1. Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.

  2. Negotiate with suppliers for good quality products at best price.

  3. Involve in BIS certification process and procure data from suppliers to get it done.

  4. Talk to BIS agent and follow up with testing labs for certification.

  5. Carry out BIS documentations, identify HSN Codes, duties, GST regulations and other mandatory perquisites for Import

  6. Forecast price and market trends to assess, manage and mitigate risks.

  7. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers locally and from international markets.

  8. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.

  9. Communicate with various departments in company to monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.

  10. Meet and identify local suppliers and access price trends and determine quality.

  11. Work in team for Logistics and other mandatory requirements for international and local purchase.

  12. Generate MIS reports for compliance rate, supplier defect, rate, procurement ROI, price competitiveness etc.
