Job Description:

We are having an urgent opening for the position of Manager/Dy Manager–Cyber Security & IT Compliance for a reputed company in the Kolkata location.

Education : BE/B.Tech/MCA or Master Degree in
related field
Relevant Cyber security certifications

Reporting structure :Reports to Head of the department

Background & Experience:

  • 7-10 years of work experience in implementation and managing Cyber Security in the organization preferably in FMCG or Cloud or SaaS based cybersecurity solutions
  • Hands-on experience of working with policy configuration in Firewall, Switch, LAN/WAN, Active Directory, Anti-virus, Proxy, VPN, server & Email security etc

Skills, Abilities & Knowhow: 

  • Deep understanding of cyber security tools, software licensing norms, national & international law related to cyber security & data protection
  • Exposure to public cloud services, SaaS and related security practices
  • Understanding of different cloud platforms, databases and scripting languages
  • Knowledge of handling ITGC audit / ISO 27000 assessment
  • Managing multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and presentation skills   

Tasks & Accountabilities:

  • Responsible to conceptualize / identify, and recommend improvement areas in existing enterprise security architecture to address evolving cybersecurity threats
  • Establish a timely consolidated and comprehensive reporting system of organization's cybersecurity posture and security risk profile to top management
  • Ensure internal and external policy compliance
  • Promote a culture of effective Cyber Security for internal users and customers by awareness campaigns and regular evaluations
  • Liaise with national level cyber security advisory authorities, and addressing the regulatory and compliance requirements related to Cyber and data Laws across globe
  • Develop Security assessment programs for cloud service providers
  • Validate existing system architecture, design principles, network, and software.
  • Conduct VAPT and mitigate the risks.
  • Responsible for Security Information and Event Management, Security Orchestration, Cloud Security, Threat Intelligence and end point protection
  • Establish Data Loss Prevention solutions, Identity and Access Management solutions and Cloud Platforms and Cloud Security
  • Security design reviews to assess security risks when adopting cloud, new technologies.
  • Ensuring organization compliance, reviewing and designing IT Policies & procedures, IT Governance, conducting internal cyber security assessment, periodic compliance reporting.
  • Managing software inventories and ensuring software compliances.
  • Ensuring timely completion of patch management, hardening of servers, end point devices and network equipment
