The ideal candidate will have between 2 to 4 years of focused experience in developing and implementing compliance procedures specifically aligned to automotive ELV regulations. Experience coordinating closely with regulatory bodies such as CMVR and homologation departments is essential to ensure vehicle compliance standards are met. The role demands cross-functional teamwork across platforms and functional units to successfully deliver on compliance objectives. Prior exposure to material data systems like IMDS and familiarity with automotive supply chains will be highly advantageous. Candidates should also demonstrate a practical understanding of environmental legislation related to automotive manufacturing and export requirements.

Industry Preferred

Experience within the automotive industry is strongly preferred, given the specialized nature of ELV and hazardous material regulations applicable to vehicle manufacturing. Candidates from sectors involved in vehicle component manufacturing, automotive materials technology, or regulatory compliance management will find this role aligned with their background. Familiarity with European, Indian, and international automotive regulations, along with collaboration with homologation teams, is particularly valuable. The automotive industry's drive for sustainability and regulatory compliance makes this role critical to ongoing product development and export success.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or equivalent technical disciplines. Academic qualifications must provide a strong foundation in materials science, chemical properties of polymers, and environmental regulations applicable to automotive materials.
