MIM in banking Domain , looking only for Chennai location and Immediate joiners.

The MIM team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and resilience of our IT services, swiftly resolving high-impact incidents to minimize disruptions to our banking operations. We are seeking candidates who meet the following key qualifications:

  • Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in Major Incident Management, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in the banking or financial services domain.
  • Certifications : ITIL certification (v4 Foundation or higher) with clear understanding of IT service management practices.
  • Technical Proficiency : Deep understanding of infrastructure, applications, networks, and incident management tools (e.g. ServiceNow). Candidates should be adept at troubleshooting complex technical issues and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Communication Skills : Highly articulate, with the ability to clearly communicate incident updates and resolution plans to both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
  • Composure Under Pressure : Proven ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations, ensuring swift and accurate decision-making during critical incidents.
  • Additional Skills:

    • Hands-on experience leading bridge calls, coordinating rapid service restoration, and ensuring timely escalation.
  • Competence in producing detailed post-incident reviews with actionable recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends with common themes and prevent recurring incidents.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements related to incident management in the banking sector.
    Ability to work 24/7 in rotational shifts as required for global coverage.
