JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Experience in Offshore fixed platform layout design
  • Capable to guide and supervise piping designers
  • Good knowledge in layout design concepts like, Accessebility, Operability and Human factor Engineering
  • Capble to understand and implement safety requirements and material handling requirements.
  • Responsible for Vendor data review, approval and incororate it in design
  • Knowldge of 3D design tools like E3D will be an added advantage
  • Good knowldge in selection of Pipe support involved in Piping Design
  • Review of engineering deliverables such as Piping and Valve material specifications, support standards, Equipment and safety layouts, 3D Model, etc.
  • Must have working knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, International codes and standards, procedures and specifications
  • Prepare DCI / MCI through Engineering Manager
  • Participation in weekly review meetings, Model reviews and Safety studies
  • Knowledge of Piping design documents.
  • Review of 3D Model, clash checks and its resolution
  • Extraction/Demarcation of Offshore-yard fabrication scope and provide inputs to Hook up team
  • Approval of Piping design documents from client
  • Liaise with fabrication yard/offshore fabrication for timely resolution of any site queries/design issues
  • Inter-departmental co-ordination during the course of project.

Key Competencies :

  • Experience in Oil and Gas Hydrocarbon offshore fixed platform facilities
  • Travel as required
  • Stretch on need basis
