Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Senior Pipeline Engineer. The Senior Pipeline Engineer will be responsible for performing engineering calculations, designing pipeline systems, focusing on pipeline integrity, and managing corrosion control. The role includes a hands-on approach to ensuring pipeline safety and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Calculations: Perform calculations related to pipeline design, including
wall thickness, thermal expansion, buckling, and other related engineering concerns.
Report Preparation: Draft detailed technical reports in Word, documenting
calculations, methodologies, and results for client and internal review.
Design Basis Compliance: Ensure all designs meet the required design basis and
industry standards, working under the guidance of senior engineers.
Collaborative Work: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, to ensure
comprehensive project development.
Quality Assurance: Review and validate calculations, ensuring accuracy and
adherence to project specifications.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all calculations,
reports, and design documents.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, standards, and
technologies relevant to pipeline design.
Required Skills:
Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems, break them down into
smaller components, and develop effective solutions.
Mathematical Proficiency: Solid foundation in mathematics, including calculus,
algebra, and physics, tailored to the engineering field.
Engineering Fundamentals: Familiarity with essential engineering concepts and
principles, with a focus on civil or mechanical engineering as applicable.
Quick Learner: Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to learn new skills quickly
and apply them effectively in the workplace.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain

Additional Desirable Skills:
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with engineering software tools commonly used

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in
Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Petroleum Engineering
(or equivalent). - Minimum 1
+ years of relevant experience
in pipeline engineering for onshore and offshore projects. - Experience with
EPC / Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Energy
sectors preferred.
