JOB DESCRIPTION

SAP Basis S/4 HANA (Public & Private cloud)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with over 5+ years of experience,

including strong hands-on expertise in S/4HANA implementations and migrations across both

private and public cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have a deep

understanding of SAP system architecture, installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and

high availability setup.

Roles s Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of SAP systems, including

S/4HANA, in both private and public cloud environments.

• Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to

optimize system performance.

• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to SAP systems, including

performance issues, system errors, and security vulnerabilities.

• Managing user access, roles, and authorizations within the SAP environment.

• Managing the transport system, including change requests, deployments, and ensuring

the integrity of the SAP landscape.

• Working with different database systems like HANA, Oracle, or SQL, including database

administration tasks.

• Participating in projects related to SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and

migrations.

• Working with other teams, including functional consultants, developers, and business

users, to ensure the smooth operation of SAP systems.

• Keeping abreast of the latest SAP technologies, updates, and best practices, particularly

in the context of cloud environments.

• Understanding the nuances of SAP on cloud platforms, including hyperscalers like AWS,

Azure, and GCP.

• Potentially including experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)for

administration and configurations.

In the context of S/4HANA Cloud, private and public editions, the role may also involve:

• Solutioning and Implementation: Participating in the design and implementation of

S/4HANA Cloud solutions.

• Fit-to-Standard Analysis: Assessing the fit of standard SAP solutions with business

requirements.

• Custom Code Management: Potentially managing custom code related to S/4HANA

Cloud.

• Integration with other systems: Ensuring seamless integration between S/4HANA

Cloud and other systems.

• Data Migration: Migrating data to S/4HANA Cloud environments.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Strong understanding of SAP Basis principles and best practices.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including administration and troubleshooting.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)is highly desirable.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of SAP HANA database is essential.

• Experience with SAP Solution Manager is helpful.

• Experience with SAP Activate methodology is also beneficial
