Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
QA Automation Engineer
with a strong background in automating
mobile and web applications
, including native and
Flutter-based mobile apps
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with
Appium
and
Selenium
, a solid foundation in
Python
, and proven expertise in
API
and
database testing
. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cross-platform applications through automation and continuous testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust and maintainable automation frameworks for
    Flutter-based mobile applications
    using
    Appium
    and relevant tools.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts for
    native iOS/Android
    and
    Flutter apps
    , ensuring cross-platform reliability and responsiveness.
  • Build test automation for web applications using
    Selenium WebDriver
    and
    Python
    .
  • Integrate mobile and web automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Conduct end-to-end
    API testing
    using tools like
    Postman
    ,
    RestAssured
    , or custom Python scripts.
  • Perform
    database testing
    , including writing SQL queries for data validation and backend integrity checks.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment to define test coverage and acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor test runs, analyze results, log defects, and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Optimize test automation performance for mobile environments, ensuring compatibility across various device configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in QA automation, with proven experience automating
    Flutter-based mobile applications
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Appium
    for mobile test automation (both native and Flutter apps).
  • Experience with
    Flutter Driver
    ,
    Appium-Flutter-Driver
    , or integration with
    Flutter DevTools
    for automated testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Selenium WebDriver
    for web automation.
  • Proficient in
    Python
    for writing automation test cases and scripts.
  • Strong understanding of
    RESTful APIs
    and experience with
    API automation testing
    .
  • Knowledge of
    SQL
    and experience with
    database testing
    .
  • Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automation tools specifically tailored for
    Flutter apps
    (e.g., Flutter integration tests, Appium Flutter plugin).
  • Familiarity with mobile device farms or cloud testing services (e.g., Lambdatest, BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab).
  • ISTQB or other QA-related certifications.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools and methodologies is a plus.
