Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare and implement annual preventive and predictive maintenance schedules ensuring 100% adherence.
  • Handle shift operations, attend breakdowns promptly, and ensure minimum downtime of machines.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve MTTR & MTBF.
  • Plan and manage spare parts inventory for critical equipment.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance SOPs, QMS standards, and support TPM, TQM & 5S activities.
  • Coordinate with production, purchase, and vendors for smooth maintenance operations.
  • Manage maintenance manpower and supervise daily work performance on shifts.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 3-7 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in the Automotive or Bearing industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC/PLC systems, and machine troubleshooting.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic understanding of SAP.
  • Behavioral Competencies: Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving, team collaboration, and result-oriented approach.
