Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Jaipur for an Operation and Maintenance Head (Solar). The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of solar installations to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Responsibilities include managing teams, coordinating maintenance schedules, analyzing performance data, addressing operational challenges, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing budgets to optimize resources effectively. The role requires close collaboration with teams and stakeholders to deliver results aligned with the organization's quality standards and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Operations Management and experience in managing solar projects
  • Proven Analytical Skills to evaluate performance data and drive decision-making
  • Effective Team Management and leadership skills to supervise, guide, and mentor team members
  • Excellent Communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders and clear reporting
  • Must be able to identify issues hampering generation at site and address them to ensure solar generation is maintained at high level.
  • Must be dynamic and able to lead the team at site from Jaipur and if required Must be willing to go to site if any major issues arise.
  • Should be able to liaise with DISCOM or the relevant authorities (Indian railways/NHPC/SECI/IIT Dhanbad)
  • Familiarity with national and international quality and safety standards
  • Prior experience in renewable energy and solar energy is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is required; advanced degrees are a plus
