Responsibilities
  • Implement and configure Microsoft Defender for Cloud to monitor and manage cloud security posture across Azure and other cloud platforms.
  • Conduct continuous security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, compliance gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and enforce cloud security policies and best practices using Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
  • Integrate Microsoft Defender for Cloud with other security tools and platforms to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents related to cloud environments, leveraging Defender for Cloud's threat detection capabilities.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and security teams to embed security controls and practices into cloud infrastructure and development workflows.
  • Generate and analyze reports on security posture, incidents, and compliance status, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft Defender for Cloud updates, features, and industry trends to continuously improve security practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud or similar CSPM tools.
  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, security features, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in implementing and managing cloud security controls and policies using Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS).
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) to manage and enhance security operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
