We're Hiring: Operations Leader – Multispecialty / EM Coding / RCM (U.S. Healthcare)

Are you a seasoned leader in medical coding operations with a passion for driving excellence in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)? We are looking for a highly experienced Operations Leader with 10+ years of proven expertise in managing coding teams, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance across multispecialty and EM coding domains.

This is a leadership role where you will oversee end-to-end coding operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction while mentoring and inspiring high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage large coding teams, ensuring operational efficiency and coding accuracy (98%+).

Oversee multispecialty coding, E/M auditing projects, and RCM initiatives, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs.

Implement coding guidelines, process improvements, and quality assurance frameworks.

Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for clients: manage expectations, resolve escalations, and ensure client satisfaction.

Drive financial oversight, including billing processes, data collection, invoice preparation, and budget adherence.

Mentor, train, and engage staff—supporting retention, career growth, and performance excellence.

Conduct regular audits, compliance checks, and deliver strategic operational improvements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.

Required Skills & Expertise

Leadership & Team Management – proven track record in managing large coding teams.

Coding Knowledge – ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS, HIPAA compliance.

Medical Coding & RCM – provider/payor coding, adjudication, and medical records review.

Technology – EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Meditech, Cerner), AI tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Operational Excellence – project execution, process improvement, quality analysis, stakeholder management, and business continuity planning.

Soft Skills – strong decision-making, analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
