Position Overview

We are looking for a Junior Project Coordinator with 1–2 years of experience to support our delivery teams in executing software development projects. The role is best suited for candidates who are eager to learn, detail-oriented, and motivated to build a career in IT project management. You'll gain exposure to project coordination, stakeholder communication, and Agile practices while working closely with senior team members and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and tracking of IT projects.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and QA teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Break down requirements into smaller actionable tasks with guidance from senior team members.
  • Support Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).
  • Maintain project trackers, documentation, and meeting notes.
  • Help identify project risks and escalate them to senior coordinators or managers.
  • Prepare basic status reports and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination/operations (IT/software preferred).
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Exposure to project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, or ClickUp).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and grow in a fast-paced IT environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Immediate joiners are preferred.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Chandigarh/Tricity region.
  • Previous experience in IT/software project coordination is a plus.
  • Team player with a proactive and learning-oriented attitude.
