Position Title - Web Developer ( Wordpress)

AddedEducation, a division of The Added Company, provides an array of services for students and athletes in Asia, in their pursuit of tertiary education opportunities. We are dedicated to up-skilling gifted students and student-athletes in Asia, providing them with resources and opportunity for leveraging their talent to access top-notch tertiary education globally.

Based in Singapore with operations across South-East Asia, India and China, and several other countries across the globe, we are a team of young like-minded people united by a single mission: to support and promote academic and sporting excellence among the Asian youth. Despite being profitable since its first year of operations, The Added Company recently raised a series A round of funding from a consortium of investors to further scale up operations and hire quality individuals to bring new thought and leadership. Currently under the AddedEducation brand, our business needs are focused on US, UK and Canada university admissions services, boarding school preparatory services and pre-high school development services.

AddedEducation is looking for a
Social Media Specialist
who will collaboratively work with the client acquisition and client delivery teams. This individual is the bridge between the marketing team and client acquisition, client delivery teams to ensure that campaigns are generating "relevant" and "qualified" leads based on the company's business plans

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Website and software application designing, building and maintenance
• Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
• Update the website on a timely basis as required
• Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
• Editing, writing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.
• Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
• Backup files from Websites to local directories for recovery.
• Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
• Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
• Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
• Graphic design including marketing materials, icons, logos, etc. when needed
• Video editing, including creating bumpers, intros, YouTube Channel content

Required Skills and Educational Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in Web Design & Development
• A relevant undergraduate degree from a reputed university
• Creative thinker, excellent communicator, ability to work with different kinds of people, collaborative approach.
• Self-motivated, customer-focused
• Proficient in Wordpress & Wix
• Capable in Adobe Aftereffects is a plus
