Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Informatica Data Quality Engineer with hands-on experience in Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) to help ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across enterprise applications. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing data quality solutions to support our data governance and quality assurance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) solutions, including data profiling, cleansing, standardization, matching, and validation.
  • Work closely with data architects, data analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and implement data quality rules.
  • Develop and maintain data quality scorecards and metrics to monitor ongoing data quality and performance.
  • Collaborate in data quality assessments and audits, identifying discrepancies and implementing resolutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including data quality processes, rules, mappings, and transformation logic.
  • Support data integration processes with other Informatica tools (e.g., PowerCenter, Informatica MDM) to ensure seamless data flow and integrity.
  • Conduct data quality checks, analysis, and root-cause analysis for data issues.
  • Implement and optimize ETL processes to support data quality efforts across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Quality Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
  • Proficiency in ETL and data integration processes, with experience in Informatica PowerCenter or similar tools.
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in data quality assessments, monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, data management principles, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or Informatica PowerCenter is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data management frameworks and data governance tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data environments.
