Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Java Backend Developer located in Bengaluru South. The Java Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and applications. The role involves writing efficient, reusable, and reliable code; ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications; identifying bottlenecks and bugs; and devising solutions to these problems. Additionally, the developer will collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and adhere to defined project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java and Java-based backend technologies
  • Experience with Spring framework and associated components
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
  • Knowledge of database management and SQL
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Experience in problem-solving and debugging
  • Familiarity with agile methodology and development practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience working in the BFSI sector is a plus
