Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Java Backend Developer, based in Bengaluru South. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain backend components for applications using Java technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze system requirements, write effective and efficient code, and ensure optimal performance of applications. Additional responsibilities include debugging and troubleshooting issues, managing software deployments, and adhering to best practices in software development.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java programming, object-oriented design, and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks
  • Experience with backend technologies such as RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Knowledge of tools and practices such as version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently debug and optimize complex systems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization tools like Docker
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Proven track record of delivering scalable, efficient, and maintainable software solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus
