Senior Structural Design Engineer (Concrete)

• Hands on experience in analysis design of reinforced concrete structures like high-rises, stadiums, airports, malls, Culverts, Tanks etc.
• Knowledge of international Codes and Standards
• Understanding of loads & load paths
• Understanding of Seismic and Wind load parameters with applicable design approaches
• Ability to coordinate and negotiate structural requirements with other trades.
• Ability to work in a team, lead a team of junior engineers and technicians to deliver quality drawings and documents.
• Preparation of technical reports, presentations, bill of quantities & of review shop drawings.
• Aware of quality procedures & technical report writing skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills in English.
• Should be open for short travel and deputation to other countries/offices, when required.
• Exposure to construction techniques and practices in middle east
• Ability to estimate, plan and implement design programs to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Ability to read and comprehend drawings of other trades – Architectural, MEP, transportation etc.
• Ability to formulate and make excel sheets or prepare programs to facilitate routine tasks in analysis & design.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve structural engineering problems encountered during design process.

Senior Structural Design Engineer (Steel)

• Experience in analysis design of steel frames/components in buildings like high-rises, stadiums, pedestrian bridges, airports, malls, industrial sheds etc.
• Knowledge of international Codes and Standards
• Understanding of loads & load paths
• Able to handle proposals, prepare scope documentation.
• Attend Client meetings, defend structural design.
• Ability to delegate and lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver quality drawings and documents.
• Ability to estimate, plan and deploy resources to match project requirements to meet deadlines. & aware of quality procedures.
• Preparation of Specifications, technical reports, presentations, bill of quantities & review shop drawings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Should be open for short travel and deputation to other countries/offices, when required.
• Technical report writing skills.
• Construction site experience will be an added advantage.
• Ability to anticipate Architectural, MEP requirements and plan structure system accordingly avoiding abortive works.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve structural engineering problems encountered during design process.
• Provide mentorship for freshers/ juniors.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends

Requirements:

• Candidate should have core design experience of 7+ years in design of concrete/steel structures.
• Good experience of using software like ETABS, SAFE, SAP etc.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD
• Work experience in Gulf countries with international codes preferred.
• Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, python etc. will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of PT design with software like RAM concept will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor/master's degree in structural engineering from reputed institute preferably through GATE qualification
